The 1/2" Hudson Fill Valve Gravity / Pressurized Flow is an automatic fluid-control valve designed to help maintain water or fluid levels without an external lever arm or float ball. It’s used to replace traditional float-ball valves in setups such as aquarium top-off and other tanks where a steady fill is needed, including livestock tanks and evaporative or holding applications. As the fluid level rises, the internal float action closes the diaphragm chamber to stop incoming flow; when the level drops, the diaphragm escape opens to allow the tank to refill. This valve is built for durability and is resistant to freezing, making it practical for systems exposed to temperature changes.
