Striped Jokers Acan Lord

About this coral

Striped Jokers Acan Lord is an LPS (large polyp stony) coral selection for reef aquariums. As an Acanthastrea-type “Acan lord” coral, it’s valued for its fleshy polyps and the way it responds to regular feeding. In practical terms, this coral is a good choice when you want an LPS display animal that benefits from moderate lighting and supplemental meaty foods, rather than relying on light alone.

Features:

• LPS coral: fleshy, polyp-forming appearance that adds texture to reef rock
• General group guidance: typically kept under moderate light for healthy tissue
• Usually benefits from targeted or regular feeding to support growth and color
• Works best with gentle, indirect water movement to keep polyps extended without blasting
• Helps fill out a mixed reef look alongside other LPS and soft corals (space planning recommended)
• A relatively manageable LPS choice for hobbyists seeking feeding-based care rather than extreme light requirements
