Seachem Equilibrium 300g (446) is a water mineral additive designed to establish and maintain an ideal mineral balance—specifically to help raise General Hardness (GH)—in planted aquariums. It’s formulated to be used in mineral-deficient water such as RO (reverse osmosis) or DI (deionized) water, where essential mineral/electrolyte content may be lacking. In practical use, Equilibrium helps balance water hardness so it can better match the carbonate hardness for improved system stability. To help maintain KH, Seachem recommends pairing it with Alkaline Buffer™.
