Rainbow Melt Lobo is an LPS (large-polyp stony) coral sold under the common name “lobo.” In practice, this type of fleshy coral is kept in reef aquariums for its bold, colorful polyp display and its ability to respond to good water conditions and appropriate flow. Use it as a showpiece coral in a stable, mixed-reef setup and pair it with compatible neighbors since LPS corals are typically not aggressive in the way some other species are, but they can still compete for space.
