Remove activated carbon and switch off protein skimming and UV sterilization. Keep other filtration running.
-
Shake vigorously and dose according to the actual water volume, accounting for displacement by substrate and decorations.
-
Distribute the dose around the aquarium or into the filter for circulation.
-
Follow the current bottle instructions for treatment duration and repeat dosing. Hikari’s recent guidance describes a single treatment lasting 5–7 days, but parasite-specific treatment may require repeated courses.
Do not combine with other medications or treatments without confirming compatibility. Manufacturer sources differ on some dosing and retreatment details, so the current label for item 73258 should govern use. Not for food fish or human use; keep out of reach of children.
