FritzZyme Trace 16oz (80332) is a specially formulated aquarium additive designed to supply trace elements, minerals, and electrolytes that are useful for healthy nitrifying bacteria and heterotrophic bacteria in biological filtration. In practice, it’s used to help support ongoing biological activity, especially when starting with RO/DI water that has had many dissolved trace elements removed, or with tap water that may be lacking some essential trace components. FritzZyme Trace is also described as compatible with FritzZyme brand biological products and other commercial biological products.
