Aussie Inferno Trachy

About this coral

Aussie Inferno Trachy is an LPS coral in the Trachy (sandbed) group, sold under a “Trachy” name that is commonly used for Trachyphyllia-type corals. In a reef aquarium, it’s valued for its fleshy, textured appearance and the way it responds to feeding and stable water conditions. This description focuses on general care guidance for Trachyphyllia-style sandbed corals.

Features:

• Fleshy, sandbed-associated LPS coral with a vibrant look under reef lighting
• Generally benefits from moderate, indirect lighting and calmer flow compared with high-turbulence species
• Placement on the sandbed or in a low-stress, lower-flow area can help it settle naturally
• Typically responds well to target or periodic feeding to supplement photosynthesis
• Helps create a more diverse LPS display with classic “fleshy coral” character
• Like many LPS, it generally does best in stable water chemistry rather than frequent changes
