ASD Slimer Acan Lord

About this coral

ASD Slimer Acan Lord is an LPS (large polyp stony) coral from the acan group sold by your aquarium shop. In practical terms, it’s a display coral that adds a classic acan look while also rewarding aquarists who provide moderate lighting and regular feeding. Because “Acan Lord” style names are commonly used for identifying a specific seller’s named morph or variation, this listing is best approached as an acan-type LPS coral: focus on general acan care guidance rather than expecting a precise, morph-specific care sheet.

Features:

• LPS coral with fleshy polyps that makes a strong focal point in mixed reef displays
• General acan-style care: typically prefers moderate light for healthy, extended polyp display
• Feeding is a key part of keeping acans looking their best; plan on supplemental food beyond just tank feeding
• Often performs best when placed where water movement is gentle-to-moderate (enough to keep detritus from settling, but not blasting)
• Great choice for aquarists who enjoy target-feeding and observing feeding responses
• Usually suited to reef-compatible setups with other non-aggressive corals and invertebrates
• Good candidate for aquascapes that allow stable attachment and easy spot placement for feeding routines
