Seachem Alkaline Buffer. A non-phosphate buffer formulated to raise pH and alkalinity (KH) in freshwater aquariums. Designed especially for planted aquariums and very hard water, it raises pH and buffers within a range of 7.2–8.5.seachem+1

Increasing alkalinity strengthens the water’s buffering capacity, helping resist changes in pH. Alkaline Buffer can also be used with Seachem Acid Buffer to target a specific pH, with the proportions determined by your desired KH and source-water chemistry.
