Harlequin Tusk (Aussie) LG

About this fish

Harlequin Tusk (Aussie) LG is a marine wrasse (Choerodon fasciatus) for the home saltwater aquarium. It’s an active, rockwork-cruising fish that can add a bold, colorful presence to a tank while also helping with certain aquarium pests. In day-to-day care, this species is best managed with secure housing, appropriate feeding routines, and careful acclimation so it settles in comfortably.

Features:

• Active, colorful wrasse that cruises and explores the rockwork
• Often described as reef safe, helping you build a mixed community tank
• Can help control pests such as flatworms and bristle worms
• Eats common prepared and frozen foods such as mysis and brine shrimp
• May bury in the sand or hide in a mucus cocoon at night, so a sand bed can be helpful
• Strong jumper—use a tight lid to reduce escape risk
• Arrives as a new animal—acclimate slowly and provide a quiet spot to settle in
