Seachem Dry Malawi/Victoria Buffer 600g (293) is a dry blend of carbonate salts designed to help replicate the water conditions of Malawi and Victoria Lake cichlid environments. In practical use, it’s used to raise carbonate hardness (KH) and increase buffer capacity so pH remains more stable. The product is formulated to maintain a target pH range of 7.8 to 8.4, supporting cichlids that do best in more alkaline, buffered water. It’s also intended to work alongside other cichlid lake products from the same program for a coordinated approach to water parameter setup.
