Seachem Aquavitro Shrimp Cubes 5pcs

Product details

Seachem Aquavitro Shrimp Cubes 5pcs (7085) are aquarium enrichment accessories designed to provide small animals with places to hide and feel secure. In established aquariums and shrimp setups, small shrimp (and other tiny tank residents) may benefit from having seclusion available to reduce stress and help avoid predation. These cube-style refuges are also useful for situations when shrimp are especially vulnerable, such as during molting and when females are carrying eggs. In addition to offering cover, Shrimp Cubes can serve as a substrate where fine algae and/or biofilm may develop, creating a natural-looking food source many small shrimp will graze on.

Features:

• Creates refuge spots that can help small shrimp and other small aquarium animals ease stress and avoid predation
• Provides protection during molting when shrimp are more vulnerable after shedding their exoskeleton
• Offers seclusion that can be especially helpful for egg-carrying females during the breeding cycle
• Adds surface area where fine algae and/or biofilm can develop as a natural food source
• Encourages natural foraging behavior by giving shrimp sheltered grazing areas
