Chemi-pure Boyd Green 5oz

Product details

Chemi-pure Boyd Green 5oz is a freshwater aquarium filter media designed for use in filtration systems that service planted aquariums. In practical terms, it’s a packaged carbon/resin media blend that helps reduce dissolved organics and other compounds that can contribute to cloudy water, odors, and tannin buildup, while aiming to avoid stripping nutrients needed for plants.

Features:

• Uses a blend of pelletized activated carbon and premium ion exchange resins for “all-in-one” chemical filtration
• Helps reduce tannins, odors, toxins, and organic compounds in aquarium water
• Designed to support clearer water for improved light penetration in planted setups
• Rinses clear quickly and is described as using low-dust pelletized carbon
• Positioned as a filtration option that does not “strip” the aquarium of micro or macro nutrients
• Packaged in a convenient nylon bag for easier handling in filter media baskets
