Chemi-pure Boyd Blue BULK 5oz

Product details

Chemi-pure Boyd Blue BULK 5oz is a pelletized activated carbon and ion-exchange filtration media blend designed to improve aquarium water quality by adsorbing a range of dissolved organics and other unwanted compounds. It’s used in reef, marine, jellyfish, and high pH freshwater systems, and can also be a useful option for African cichlids when you want additional chemical filtration support in a high-flow media bag.

Features:

• Superior chemical filtration with QuickWash Carbon™ pelletized activated carbon
• QuickWash Carbon™ is 0.8mm extruded pellets with increased surface area for effective adsorption
• Designed to reduce the potential for HLLE by lowering fine carbon dust and keeping ash low
• Contains two high-grade hybrid ion exchange resins for synergistic water purification
• Helps reduce organics, odors, phenols, toxins, medications, dissolved metals, and key nutrient-associated compounds
• Supports redox and may help stabilize pH as part of its filtration action
