Aqua Excel Filter Sock Holder 4″

Product details

Aqua Excel Filter Sock Holder 4" is a piece of aquarium filtration equipment made to secure and position a 4-inch filter sock so it stays in place during filtration. Filter sock holders are used in systems that rely on disposable or reusable socks to mechanically trap uneaten food particles, detritus, and other suspended debris before it can circulate in the aquarium. In day-to-day use, the holder helps keep the sock properly seated, making it easier to swap socks when they become clogged.

Features:

• Designed to hold a 4-inch filter sock securely in the filtration path
• Helps keep the filter sock properly positioned for consistent mechanical filtration
• Supports regular sock changes by making sock removal and replacement more straightforward
• Reduces the chance of sock slipping out of place during pump flow and water movement
• Useful for maintaining clearer water by trapping fine particulates in the sock
• A practical add-on for filter setups that use filter sock media for mechanical debris removal

Specifications:

• Filter sock size: 4" (four-inch)
