Blue Jaw Trigger Male Lg

About this fish

Blue Jaw Trigger Male Lg is a saltwater triggerfish listed as Xanthichthys auromarginatus. This is a bold, personality-driven fish that can be a centerpiece for a well-planned home aquarium, especially for aquarists who can manage its strong jaw behavior and feeding needs. In practical terms, it’s best used in tanks designed for triggers—typically with live rock for structure and carefully selected, durable tankmates that won’t be outcompeted or eaten.

Features:

• Bold, intelligent triggerfish character with strong jaws
• Often suited to fish-only setups with live rock and robust tankmates
• May be aggressive and can eat invertebrates, so tankmates should be chosen with care
• Blue jaw triggers are often described as calmer than many other trigger species
• Enjoys slow acclimation and a quiet spot in the tank to settle in
