Grafted Martinensis Carpet Anemone

About this invertebrate

Grafted Martinensis Carpet Anemone is a reef aquarium anemone sold as a “grafted” specimen, typically meaning it has been attached to a stable base so it can settle and grow in a display. Carpet anemones are valued for their flowing, textured look and active movement, adding a natural focal point to reef tanks. In practical use, this anemone can also be part of your tank’s feeding cycle because carpet anemones generally benefit from appropriate meaty foods and good overall water quality.

Features:

• Carpet-style anemone appearance that can add noticeable movement and texture to a reef aquarium
• “Grafted” style mounting intended to help the animal stabilize after setup and settle on a suitable surface
• Predatory feeding behavior—will typically accept appropriately sized meaty foods
• Often becomes a centerpiece once established in a preferred spot
• Best kept with stable, reef-typical water conditions to support long-term health
