CaribSea Super Naturals Sunset Gold 40lb (00869)

Product details

CaribSea Super Naturals Sunset Gold 40lb (00869) is a bagged, pre-washed sand designed for aquariums that want an attractive, natural-looking substrate with practical buffering flexibility. This is an inert sand, meaning it is intended not to affect pH or alkalinity, so you can adjust and maintain key water-quality parameters to match your tank and livestock needs. It’s suitable for marine setups (with properly maintained pH and alkalinity) and can also be used in brackish systems when the tank is properly buffered. Because the grains are designed to be gentle, it can also work well with soft-bellied fish and burrowers that benefit from a safer substrate.

Features:

• Pre-washed design helps reduce the need for extensive rinsing before use.
• Inert sand is intended not to affect pH or alkalinity, supporting your chosen water-chemistry targets.
• Natural-looking color palette intended to resemble environments such as Amazon River blackwaters or Asian jungle-style aquascapes.
• Grain-size selection is geared toward safer contact for soft-bellied fish and animals that burrow.
• Usable in both marine and brackish aquariums when pH/alkalinity are properly maintained and buffering is appropriate.
